What is Vitality?
You might have heard us talking a lot about vitality recently. We wanted to take a moment to talk to you about why it's so important that you bring awareness to your vitality. Simply put, vitality is a combination of physical vibrancy and emotional balance.

What does physical vibrancy mean? It means having the energy to carry out your day-to-day activities, the strength and flexibility to get yourself through your day, as well as engage in activities that bring you joy. Your physical vibrancy is weak and needs to be addressed when you barely get through your daily demands before collapsing on the couch exhausted each day.
What does emotional balance mean? It means having the mental clarity to know what you want in life, having ongoing goals you are excited about and the confidence to know that you'll get there. It means having a sense of calm and inner peace even during life’s day-to-day chaos. It also means staying present in the moment rather than getting lost in the anxiety of the future or the guilt of the past. Your emotional balance may need strengthening if your are easily stressed, feel lost in life and get anxious easily.
Why is this important? Because we only have one life and we should spend this short time here living it fully. You need to feel vital in order to carry out your purpose in your life fully and thrive. We believe there are 5 essential pillars that must be balanced in order to have vitality.

- Movement
- Sleep
- Resilience
- Connection
Each of these 5 pillars are equally important and the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. Each of these pillars are inextricably linked to the others. They all greatly impact one another and your vitality is limited by your weakest pillar. Perhaps you are eating the right foods (nutrition), exercising regularly (movement), sleeping relatively well (sleep) and working hard towards a rewarding career (resilience) but your relationships (connection) are suffering and you don't have a good connection with those you love most in your life. Your 5 vitality pillars won't be balanced and your general happiness (vitality) will suffer.
Physical vibrancy & emotional balance = vitality. You can not be your best potential self unless you achieve balance across these 5 pillars and our workshops are designed to provide you with the tools, awareness and support to balance your 5 pillars, achieve vitality and be your best potential self.
