Purple’icious Smoothie


My doctor always told me to enjoy all the colours of the rainbow when it comes to my food. This recipe definitely helps me get after the purple spectrum. And bonus, it’s a hit with my kids which always helps with rushed morning routines.


  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen banana

  • 1 large zucchini (yellow or peel green skin off to avoid a brown smoothie)

  • 1/2 cup celery

  • 2 tsp chia seeds or flax seed

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder


  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender with the liquid on the very bottom. Blend well and enjoy right away.
