Perfect Porridge

I know that you’ve heard this before. Breakfast is incredibly important and nourishing with all your macronutrients (carbs, protein and fat) is equally important. This recipe is designed to do just that. i.e.: skip the drive through egg sandwich. Eating as soon as you get up will rev your metabolism and keep you fuller during the day.


  • 1/3 cup oats (larger the flake the better)

  • 2/3 cup almond milk

  • 2/3 cup water

  • 1/3 cup cooked quinoa

  • 1 TSP cinnamon

  • Optional toppings: coconut pieces, chia seeds, cinnamon, walnuts, almond butter, and bananas etc...


  • Whisk together the dry oatmeal, cinnamon, almond milk, water and cooked quinoa really well.

  • Add to a pot on medium heat and continue stirring frequently until it's cooked through (4-6 mins).

  • Once cooked add your toppings and enjoy!
