Energy Balls

This recipe was inspired by my endless desire to have something sweet in the afternoon. No matter how satisfied and full I am after my lunch, I always crave an afternoon treat. This recipe does the trick! And bonus my kids devour them as well.


  • 2 cups large flake oatmeal

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet coconut flakes

  • 1 cup organic and all natural peanut butter (avoid too much oil)

  • 3/4 cup ground flax seed

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet dark chocolate chips (mini)

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2-3 tablespoon chia seeds 

  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons Maca + Cacao


  • Stir all of the ingredients together and mix really well. Use your hands if you need to.

  • Cover and chill dough for 30 minuets.

  • Remove from the fridge and roll into small bit size balls. Keep in the freezer until you are ready to enjoy. They only take a few minuets to thaw.
