HOWEVER, the holiday season can bring a lot of tempting treats our way. And I will be the first to admit that I indulge in most of them. I also make sure that I am active each day over the holidays. Long family walks, hikes, skating, sledding or doing an intense online workout. It all counts. And I don't do it to 'burn calories' that I ate or plan to eat that day. I find ways to be active so I can feel energized, rev my metabolism and mentally ease any guilt of overindulging.
